Hi guys,

Here are the final pics of the finished piece. One of the most enjoyable figures I've ever painted, and one of the most satisfying results I've achieved.:D

I've added more foliage and plants to the base and dirtied up the knees and boots since my last WIP pics.

Just for a bit of fun, I've added a background of jungle plants to help create an extra dimension to the pics.;)

Thanks to everyone who commented on my WIP thread.(y)

Wow! Tony A beautiful masterpiece.
Your technique is a reflected wonderful work.
I also liked photography very much.
A background is very nice.
I congratulate completion.

definitely one of your best mate, helps if you have a great figure to work on !!!
I think the groundwork is just enough without being too much to distract from the figure.

Excellent result mate

Excellent result Tony!
Love the whole scene: well-painted painted figure, nice groundwork....extremely eye-pleasing!

this looks great, a fine treatment of a real classic, I'll have to get mine out of a box in the cellar and treat it with more respect.
This whole range of PM figures was great, sculptors like Keith Durham, Derek Hansen and Julian Hullis were right at the top of their game.
Regards
Derek

Wonderful job on this figure and his setting. Still a great kit after all these years. That is the sign of a true classic they hold up as the years pass.
