What an excellent SBS.
Sorry I missed the beginning, but I’ve caught up now and will follow.

Today I started to paint the shirt with oil paints. For that I have chosen these colors ...:

The highest lights (only!) are painted with pure titanium white. The Paynesgrey I use very carefully and mix added only traces of it to the deepest shadows.

As a start, I painted a sleeve ...:

Looking good Martin, did you use any additive to the oil color to make it a little dull or it's just the brand and type of oil pain?, i find oil colors in general are very glossy.

Thanks! I use this, Daniel...:

And if the colors are really dry, and the shine disappears ...
(I take my photos just after I am ready with painting for a day.)

Cheers

Ahhh....do you want to hear something funny??, i went to hobby lobby 2 weeks ago with the intention of buying red oil color to use as a base for my swiss trooper.
And i bought the same medium you showed in that picture.
When i pour the paint and tried to use that solvent it did not blend, instead, it was like water and oil separation.
I realize i bought a water color paint rather than an oil paint.
Opps...that was my intent of using oil paints
I love your work mate, keep up the good work!
