Crusaders

Recently ive gotten interested in crusaders. Are there any good figures out there?

In 1/16 or 120 mm that is.

Pegaso have several excellent offerings that are listed as 90mm, which is pretty close. They have figures to represent both the Latin Kingdom and the Islamic warriors, mounted and on foot. Expensive, yes, but really worth it. Might make you forget they're not 120mm.

Sarg! .. there are a few medieval kits out there, not specifically 'The Crusades'. As ghamit, has indicated there is much more choice @ 75 to 90mm! stuff .! E.G. For Crusades, @ 90mm,

They are beautiful. But my old eyes like the 120mm figures....

Mini Art has some 1/16 knights in plastic. They are quite ok and very cheap. Not really crusaders, but same period.

I try to paint/collect with a theme. Recently all I've been buying are 54mm mounted and 75/90mm military monastic order models. Pegaso and Romeo crusader line is the best IMO. In fact the 12-13th century range works too.
