Bravo

Caro Ernest,

Sempre bravo - your work is outstanding and I like the way the face stands out with the 'frame' of the black cloth.

I really like how this one is coming. Keep posting.

Ciao

Awesome!! I like the weathering of the shield and the leatherwork is some of the best I've ever seen! Too bad the shield covered that lovely scabbard. If you do go with snow on the base, please share your techniques including what materials you use (I'm getting ready to do a snowy base myself and any pointers would be greatly appreciated!).

Thanks Jason, yes it's a shame about the cover shield of the leather parts as the sword and belt :( that's way I tooke the picture before to attached the shield ;) Don't worry about the grondwork sbs I will share the materials and process...

Ernest that's really a great piece of work. I really like the black. It was a good idea for a different version of this beautiful figure.

Fantastic paintwork Ernosto, for sure it's too bad this great leatherwork is covered by the shield.

Hello guys and thanks all :) here some pictures of the final figure. For the grondwork I used first some white DAS for the ground, then when is dry (help me with a hair dry) I cover the DAS with a ground sand mix from Vallejo, this material help me to do some textures like mud. Once is all dry I paint a base color with Humbrol (black, earth, olive, etc) and let it dry, then some mix with acrylics and then I glued the little rocks, dry trees and dry vegetation, now is time for the snow, the snow is from Andrea, mix it with white glue and water, the final effects is ass you see in the pictures.... hope you like it :)
