Just started painting the boxart for a future Michael Miniatures bust. This one is Czar Nicholas in 1/9th scale. It's a bit larger size which will demand even smoother transitions. Just starting the face with the first couple of highlighting steps done so far. Much to do....

Thanks! The flesh base mix is made from (all Vallejo):

Cork Brown + Dark Orange + Basic Skintone + Dark Red + a small bit of Flat Blue.

I add more Basic Skintone to the base for highlights.

Wow, this bust will be another beautiful piece. Durn Burn it. . . how am I
going to save any money if you keep doing this kind of work.

Of course, you know I am just kidddin' amigo. Beautiful sculpting and
painting. Once you pick out the details in all the areas of his chest, this
figure will really start to sing. . . Artistically speaking . . . We're talkin'
eye candy. . . big time.
