Hi everybody,

this is my current project, the wonderful bust from DTOYS that was sculpted like Tom Cruise in Valkyrie movie.
The eagle that you see in the hat is a piece of photoetched from VLS Techstar 1/16 scale.
the eyes are almost done, and now, I work the fleshtones with Andrea flesh set and if you notice, you can see some light on left part of the face and in the chin area. I am trying to paint using the method that you can see in Dimitrios JMD bust.
Hope you like this and all comments are welcomed!

Very impressive. Does anyone know the D-Toys website address? I have been trying to find the gunfighter since it came out. Thanks.

Hi! Pedro.
Excellent start!
The expression of an eye is perfect.
I liked it very much about flesh color.
I'm very interested in Andrea's special color.
I have not used it yet.
However I felt like seeing your example and trying.
I'm looking forward to future's progress with interest.

Nice start Pedro!
The eyes look excellent.

I also recently got the Andrea flesh set and I am very impressed; it paints nicely and has a pleasing flesh tone.

I never painted a large scale figure, but it seems you have to be keep the contrast subtler than with the smaller scales. Of course you may very well know this already.... :).

Anyway, nice one that I will be following....

Cheers,
Adrian

Thanks Dimitrios!

at this scale acrilics are not my favourite medium to paint, but this time with the encouragment of your SBS and the video from Dave Youngquist (Red Baron), I will try do do something diferent and I will certainly fail this challenge but no problem... the oils are looking to me right now:D:D:D
