I recieced the following email from Mike Blank:

Dear Guy

hope you are well my friend. We are all busy here with our little daughter, she is now 15 months old... time flies!

I would be most grateful if you could post this figure on the planet, it is a 54mm scratch of a Danish infantryman, this figure will be part of my display at the Long Island show this coming weekend. Hope to meet some of you guys there!

Mike the Swede

PS I will post the other figures in my display when I get back from the states

Thanks Guy,

I must say, the more Mike is posting figure's of this period, the more i gonna like this period.
But it seems that there are not so many figures around.
So, one day i must sculp myself a figure.

The goodnews here is the crew from Western Mass is packing up for the trip to the Long Island show and will be able to see Mikes work first hand. Can't wait, great show and excellent vendors for those of you looking for an excuse to go as well.

Great piece as always from Mike. I just wish pieces like that would come out to the market. I surely know where I would spend my money on.

I'm sure it won't be very long before you see some figures from this period.~Gary

Hello Mike!

really wonderfull!!! After all these years, you don't stop improving!

I like this one a lot, as next to your usual perfect bodylanguage and facial expression which turns your work in some of the most communicative around, concerning finesse and subtlety I feel this is one of the best you ever did. The subtle treatment of the lacing is really great (love the loose one!), the weathering and the snow effect also, and the sculpting of both waist and shoulders (not always easy...) is very succesfull.

Enjoy the show!

Marijn

PS: Guy, thanks for posting!
