As for the Hinrich - my favorite stage - blend'n'glaze, Cadian fleshtone, mixed with white here and there:

Various fleshtones:

Some dirt behind nails

Brown ink and agrax earthshade on hair.

I think the contrast is ok?

Stay safe.

PS Thx for the popcorn!!
My pleasure!
Looks good but perhaps paler fleshtones would fit better as they barely saw sunlight for long periods.
Good point. I'll adjust the contrast after painting the whole bust. Although I think there will be no such need.

Well.
Beard. On the left cheek, the hair was not marked with a carving, it will be covered by a hand, but I painted it for my own peace of mind.

Tomorrow I'm going to make some corrections and add the eyebrows. But everything will depend on the eyes anyway ;)

Stay safe!

Hi Marcin

Coming on very nicely ....I would have painted the beard for peace of mind as well!!

Nice detail on fingernails and I do like the sculpting on the hair strands

Thanks for popcorn ..tasty

Thanks for updates

Look forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Looking good Marcin. The flesh tones are OK IMO. A lot of U-Boot crews had the benefit of UV lamps on board to offset the lack of daylight, as by necessity they spent most of their surface time at night.

Thank you, Men!
At the bottom for now. Too weak to hold the brush. To paraphrase KaLeun's words: Beide Maschinen Stopp...

Hey - you shook off the destroyers! Welcome back(y)

Thanks, Phil. "The shuffle of sand..."

Meanwhile, the first attempt to paint the left eye ... unsuccessful ...

Nahh, he looks like spaniel now. It's nothing. I know the sculpture is good, I can't paint it well, yet.
I filled his mouth a little with plasticine, because I saw gaps on the joining line. I joined all three parts of the bust together, I think it will make it a little easier for me to position the irises in relation to the rest according to the film frame.

Stay safe, men!

Congratulations you are making a very beautiful piece I could make the eyes like what you did, regularly one done well the other obscene, then the apotheosis in an attempt to correct, it is really a subject that promises well as the saying goes if the good morning starts in the morning ...

Hi Marcin

Catching up a bit on this ....had to go ashore for popcorn supplies

This is coming on well IMO , not the easiest of faces despite the good sculpt but your getting there

Happŷ benchtime

Look forward to more on this
