Hi, all!
Peter, Nap - thanks, guys.
Very first colors on details.
Cheers.
There were no covers at all. That is, they were, but rainproof, transparent and put on the entire cap, but it was very rare and probably during the war they immediately withdrew it. When it was raining heavily or there was a stormy weather, everyone who was at the kiosk put on rubber storm clothes - for them there were such "fisherman" hats with a big brim around.Schirmutze top would have been a detachable white cotton cover over the normal black hat crown, and I'd guess the KaLeu would have "one on and one in the wash".
