Hi Del thanks for the comments.
Who is he! Just some little guy who removed the pope crowned himself emperor of France ,didn't speak French all that well and struggled with riding a horse , still holds the prize for the best overcoat and bicorn to this day, terrorized europe
for over a decade and took 7 coalitions to finally beat him :)

Yea the base is one of my own.

Ron
Ah! so Inspector Clouseau then. The overcoat and didn't speak French was the giveaway (y)

Nicely done and not overdone as I see more and more in some contest . Peoples are painting now their 90mm as a 25 from
Warhsomething 40.000 .
I like your way of painting , smooth, nice bleding of the tones, warm grey..
Good
I just retired and will try my hand again to painting . the last time I painted was in the 70ies ... with Humbol .
I also opened my site to show how I was painting at that time, figure that does not exist anymore . I think I'm an dinosaur , I will have to adapt and the works shown on those pages are inspiring

I agree with you Michel. The style of painting now seems to be leaning toward the more artistic rather than realism.
