Just right

The highlights, blending and shading are just about right.

I'd like to say perfect, but I'm worried that if I do, you might get a mental block and not get any better!!!;):D:eek:

Do continue!

cheers!

Does look good so far...

...just a few thoughts....

blending is excellent, and the tones for the rubberised smock are working.

Given the subtle tones of the face, with dust marks, his hands look a bit too 'clean', unless he was wearing gloves.

Either add some gloves draped over his thigh, handle bars or where ever seems right, nearer the hand not holding the handle bars, or add some dust tones to the backs of hands/ knuckles.

just my thoughts, and small details like that help link the effects over all.

feel free to completely disregard the above!!

cheers

Great progress Mark! The figure looks terrific on the motorbike.
Looking forward to see it painted.

Regards,
Marcel.

exactly where i'm heading.... i have a sequence in mind of pull off the road, gloves off, helmet off goggles down etc, so clean hands it is. i can't imagine anyone riding around with that coat on and not having gloves lol!

many thanks for the input!

:D

Looking forward to see it painted.

thanks Marcel, the bike is coming along lovely and will be back to the figure after the weekend

Excellence is in the details!

Mark,
glad to hear about the helmet/ gloves deal. Like some movies, the few subtle details help "carry" the result.

When those small details are missing, the viewers know something is a "bit off", but cant say why.

Now the scheme makes more sense.

Keep it up, avoid the lager monster visits that draw out!:D

cheers

and the paint and glue fumes monster hehehe ..... as it was snowing quite heavily this morning i took a "snowday" :)

i got most of the rest of the bikes bits cleaned up so i can undercoat them in the morning :)

and did a bit more painting! YAYYYY!

Mark, drop the helmet, it's so wrong in shape! If you want to use one it has to be the old ESCI panzer grenadier one.

Oh, and cut your nails......your too old to be a Goth now!....

Can't believe Siouxsie and Budgie have split up!......

My world has fallen apart!

Cheers,
Jon.

You make and old kit look better than new!

Hi

Every now and than you see and old kit on the net that some freak of nature (true artist) as made look like it is still not out yet.
Your talent make people like me look for this old kit again, just so I can try and do what you have already done.

Well done.
Please give the bike some weathering to make it look the part.

Mark:

I agree with your initial comment that it looks "cartoony"......if you consider the hyper realsitic Final Fantasy style of cartoon that is. Awesome work in a very difficult scale.

Mark,
what's the circular base you're using a the moment? With those triangles looks like somthin' outta Dr. Who! Are you gonna use that as your actual base? Or is it a temporary?

Lovin' the way this is comin' on!

Cheers,
Jon!
