Hi all! My latest work, inspired by a planche by Knotel. The only changes were the head (Historex) and the small grenade on budriere.
The 88° Line Infantry Regiment took its origin from one of the Irish regiments passed to the service of King Louis XIV. In 1796 the regiment changed its name to "88° Demi-Brigade d'infanterie de Ligne", created by combining elements of two previous half-brigades "to battle". After participating in the campaign in Egypt of 1798, took part in the main European campaigns of the Grande Armée, fighting to Austerlitz, Jena, Eylau, Wagram and, especially, Spain. The regiment ended his service in the campaign of Waterloo of 1815 and fought at Ligny and Wavre framed in III° Vandamme's Corps.
