Hi guys,
Well, I finally got to finish this, in between many other projects! Scale 120mm, sculpted in Miliput with Duro detailing. A little tidying still needed here and there, but I dont think anything major.
I am hoping this will become commercial, at some time in the future,
I hope you like it,
Steve(y)

Very nice Steve I like the idea of him writing home using the drum as a desk one tiny thing might make it even more poignant is maybe his tongue sticking out a bit as he struggles with such a difficult task ? I know mine still does even now :cautious:

Hi Steve,
A lovely little piece, I can see me getting one of these to convert into a 24th drummer boy. Even if it does not go commercial cast me one anyway and I will buy it.(y) ;)
cheers
Richie

Many thanks for all the comments, guys, thanks for taking the time to look!
Steve (Helm) - good idea, maybe a big, thick wax crayon to write with too?!;)
Steve - Thats the third attempt at the boyish face, then I went back to the first one after all that!! Hey, Ive got two spare heads, now!
thanks again,
Steve(y)

Hi Steve ,

Good to see this finished , like this lots , you can imagine him struggling to write home , like the idea of the tongue (he says as mine is out whikst typing!!!) and also the crayon.

Perhaps a little bugger base but saying that I do like the boot hanging over it slightly .

Is this having any companion figures with it ?

Nice piece

Thanks for posting

Many thanks Rob, I never thought it would attract so much attention!
Just to let you guys know that this is going for moulding/casting this week, so will keep you posted on progress.
Thanks again for all the positive feedback

Superbly sculpted. My first thoughts were "poor little b*****", miles from home with just his drum to keep him company!

Heh look what I found when looking for some colour references cracking likeness Steve (y) Incidentally if anybody could point me to a decent colour reference I'd be obliged, I'm bloody glad to see the drums got a cover on too! I assume it was the normal khaki uniform at this stage ?
