Maybe add some highlights to the trousers as you suggested? Hard to tell from a photo, though.

Cheers mate, if only it was that simple, I get told where to hide in hide and seek and we take turns in the same place! Then when I pretend to look she jumps up and says boo! Best one today was going to.pick my daughter up from work and hand her back, didn't know she had a pen and she 'tattooed' her entire left hand in the back of the car, after she told me 'you're not my grandad anymore' if only.
Still back to the bench tomorrow to try out the blue!

Oh absolutely she's awesome, we painted a unicorn head I got her from hobby craft yesterday, she is such a visionary artist using her hands to spread the paint instead of a brush! I just wouldn't be me if I didn't complain a little!

Bit late to the bench today with one thing and another, so I'll start with a quick update on yesterday's session.
This is the base work for the coat, which to.my eyes is pretty close to Cornflower Blue. As with most things in life the mix is best kept simple. Vallejo Deep Sky Blue about 85% and SC Caspian Blue 15%. I will use Deep Sky Blue for the highlights and judge if I need to add any Caspian Blue, shade will be SC Caspian Blue and add a touch of SC Cantabric Blue for the darker shades. I don't want to use any whites or blacks at all with such a light colour.

Looking good, Simon! Really coming together. I think you capture the expression that others outside Prussia would call essentially Prussian-a staid, serious look, the look of someone going about his business without frivolity and who knows his business.
