Really enjoyed painting this superb bust. A few firsts for me not least the bald, or half bald, head! Face mostly painted in Andrea Acrylic but finished using Windsor & Newton Artisan water soluble oil paints.
Shield painted in acrylic with a crude attempt at free handing a probably historically inaccurate pattern
Shirt and everything else painted in WSO which has opened up a lot of opportunities for me and may become my paints of choice for figures.
