Hello guys!
Wow, almost two month since my last posting. Well, thank you for your kind words.
To finally answer your questions:
@Carl: I used mainly Vallejo Modell Air metallics, but painted on with the brush and some Gamesworkshop Gold. Also a few older brown and orange Gamesworkshop inks.
@Paul: Usually I dilute what ever get's painted over the first basic "full strength" layer of paint. I have no special recipe, I just dipp the brush into the paint, then into the water and then brush/wash it onto the model. I also dilute the inks, because they are very strong. It's better to control if you paint on a few very thin layers, than just one much too thick that will obscure everything.

Well, still a bit to go until it is finished, but I'm getting there.
