I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everyone that stopped by my table at Euro to say hello, it was far too many to note individually and I don't want to miss anyone off the list!

But I enjoyed meeting every single person off PF, what a great community it is!

I thoroughly enjoyed the event, it was a great show. The quality of the work displayed is simply breath taking. I'm not sure if I am inspired or intimidated, but it was great to see.

I had amazing feedback on Tommy's War and sales were excellent, its really given me a pick-up and inspired some great plans for 2013. Dawn of the Apocalypse also had a great reaction, I'm not sure anyone understands how someone can have a passion for World War One military history and zombie movies, but if you meet me then you realise that I am very eccentric!

Finally, thank you to Carlos (series 7) for helping and for the figures in my display case and to Alex for his figures - both were really well received with some great comments and a lot of photographs being taken. Also, thank you to Nino for his amazing sculpting and Günther for his wonderful box art. Without these two, and Darek my fantastic caster, the range would not exist.

It was good to see you again and have a natter Darren.

By the way, if you enjoy your zombies and haven't done so already, check out the AMC TV series The Walking Dead". It's terrific stuff. And you could always commission a "Zombie Tommy" (the "Zombie Nazi" thing has been done so why not?!)

I am one of the members who "stopped by" Tommy's War and it was a delight. Sadly my ageing eyes just cant deal with painting such small figures anymore, dont think my guide dog can paint them either.
I have to say thought they are delightful figures of different regiments and the sculpting I saw was a work of art.
Very nice work all round. I am sure they will be a huge seller for you.

Don

Don, Steve - I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you both. Euro is great as I have a weekend away talking about military matters and having a few beers (plus a few more, then tequila, rum, JD......) and my wife thinks its working!

I've seen the Walking Dead Steve and love it. I've got the graphic novels as well which are also superb. A zombie Tommy, cracking idea mate!

Darren thanks for a great weekend !;) but I must appolagise as on the Sunday I dont think I did much work during the day .... :notworthy: I was overwhelmed and like a kid in a sweet shop ! ! !

Hi Darren/Carlos,
Great looking stand and nice to hear you had a great weekend and a successful weekend. But, as for suffering I have no sympathy, especially if you were drinking with those boys from north of the border.
cheers
Richie;)

Darren it whas good to see you again.
And finally I'm a owner of a Douglas with the dispatch rider.
The Douglas is something I always wanna to do myself, but it is very hard.
I open the box at home and this would be even harder.......what a great and amazing detail. The spokes are gonna be a nightmare.
See you next year.

Marc

Glad you all had a good time. Carl I am dying to know-how did you get on in the competition with your fantastic pieces, especially the motorbike?

Great to see you again Marc. The trick with the spokes on the Douglas is to glue in one set of etch, fix the resin spacer in the centre and then fix the second half.

Good luck with it though, there is a lot of detail but its awesome when its complete. Any problems give me a shout, I have spare parts if you need any. Its worth checking out www.tommysdouglas.com as well.
