Are you sure you would not prefer OG's, they would be the better finish and easier option, had 3 goes tonight at DPM's and took it all off again, they looked dreadful. Even tried lightening the Colours but it does not add much variance. :( I just don't want to screw it up :(.. Have done the helmeted head.

Hi Tony, I never thought of that, yes I would love OG`s, they were my favourite bit of what we use to call "Ally kit"
this is me on Ascension Island test firing our Wombat Anti Tank guns, but they were never used, (I an on the left with my OG`s) :) and I think wearing my German shirt,,

What are the other guys wearing, they appear to be green with two pockets, I just need to know do i need to chop a pocket off and which one... or was there an OG with two pockets, so i needn't of bothered screwing them up in the first place? mine were lightweights but so long ago i cannot remember. I might have to try and strip the legs as with trying to put on camo it has destroyed the finish i had and the paint is now too thick and is obscuring the detail.... will see if it can be salvaged :)

Hi Tony, in the previous photo the other blokes seem to be wearing ordinary issue denims, but in this photo me and my mate are wearing OG`s, (ps that is not a pocket on my left, just a bit of kit left on the floor)

Sorry for the belated reply Jimmy, actually took these earlier this week
Head is done, pouches are more or less done, the camp roll is on

do you want some scrim on the helmet or a moustache adding??

progress so far (well bit more done since these)

Is that the water bottle pouch on the figures left next to the ressy bag? For a right handed firer maybe an ammo pouch should be there?

Maurices images had it on the other side with the pouch with the side mag pouch fwd of it and the ammo pouch behind it, but they would not sit right, will see what jimmy wants, but no hassle to swop about, I used to have my ammo pouches on the front. but they used to after a while get front heavy, so I swopped them about.

Hi Tony, I think Jimmy S, is right ammo pouches front left and right, water bottle and respirator to the rear of ammo pouches, sorry Tony but that would be the correct configuration,
still great stuff, bye for now Jimmy

Little update, right arm added, will add Union Jack to it with a decal, Jimmy was there a 3 para badge on any of them? pouches have been corrected too.
Also to reflect the peat type soil one has been at work on the base, increased the vegetation and added a rock to to simulate the granite of the place..... onwards and upwards, still need to know do you want a moustache and some camo strips on his helmet Jimmy? ignore the trousers at the mo, will get sorted one way or the other :)

Hi Tony, top stuff it looks great, on the windproofs there was only the union jack, the helmets tended to be left up to the individual, I think yours looks fine as it is with just the net fitted, moustaches tended to be standard army issue in the 1980`s (members of A Company 3 Para entering Stanley) we were a grimy lot at the end,,,

So tash or not? Do not worry about him looking clean, I need to get the Camo complete before I scruff it up, or it would look uneven :)

Moustache added, arm added and painted, DPM weathered down to give it some cohesion and wear, additionally some weathering / soiling done to the webbing, hope you like the aged look Jimmy as it isn't reversible. Awkward to photograph so you can see it fully.. Again ignore the trousers. Thanks for the kind comments everyone and Paul, you want to post hour work, that is Awesome..

OK on to the new images
