Hi Tony, cant see image..
The devil is in the detail, and you have really captured the colours and detail, 10/10Phew was worried you wouldn't like the weathered look..
Thank you for the comments too Tony. The figure was my first in acrylics - unfortunately I gave it away as a retirement present! Luckily I have the pictures though. I'm having a go with a Foxwood figures Normandy period British Infantry figure at the moment.Moustache added, arm added and painted, DPM weathered down to give it some cohesion and wear, additionally some weathering / soiling done to the webbing, hope you like the aged look Jimmy as it isn't reversible. Awkward to photograph so you can see it fully.. Again ignore the trousers. Thanks for the kind comments everyone and Paul, you want to post hour work, that is Awesome..
OK on to the new images
Worn on Para smocks, but not on Arctic's Tam.great job with the figure, DPM is hoofin mate.
can anyone answer me this though, did the paras wear wings and regimental ID flashes on their smocks during the falkands?
I've been commissioned to do 2 paras with 2 and 3 para drop zone patches, but cant find any reference to them wearing in any photos from the conflict.
Hi Tony, this photo was just a group of blokes from 2 Para posing, the war had finished, that's why there not holding the weapon correctly, as soon as I got my figure I knew it was wrong, Moz did mention the photograph, but as you can see, it is a sort of off duty posing picture, even the Argy`s could carry them correctly when required Tony did you get two right arms in your kit?
