Request

Does anyone knows A.Laruccia so he can transfer a request to sculpt an English and an Italian paratroopers like the American and the German? It will be a perfect quarteto!!!(I like WW2 paratroopers).Cheers Christos

Very nicely done, I like the mud splatters on the trousers and smock. You also did a great job on the subtle bleed through of the bandage. Would love to see up close (but Athens is a bit far :D)

groeten from, Willem

Thanks Willem, the mud is a mixture of burnt umber oil,MIG pigments and satin varnish, the blood is oils burnt umber and alizarin crimpson. This is the only time I use oils to the figure, the rest is acrylics.I am thinking on April to go to Herzog fon Bayern show at Ingolstadt, this is the nearest place I can go to you.

Mikko and Denes thank you for your comments,I believe that everything that we create has a piece of ourselves inside it.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your nice comment,I am in the hobby since 1994 and through the years I have create my own style of painting. It is sure that I have influenced from some modellers but they are older than Ortiz. For the last 5 years I was out of competitions, magazines, internet etc. so I discovered Ortiz recently. He is a great modeller undoubtly but our method is different. Thanks again my friend,Christos.
