I am truly shocked saddened and very upset to hear this news.
He's a big character who spoke his mind, wore his heart on his sleeve and we shall miss him
We had many pm conversations about movies sculpting and collecting.
I have lost another friend I could not replace.

Farewell big guy.

Paul.

I was only alerted to this sad news today when Mike Butler messaged me. I knew Ade since about 2010/11 and he had become a good friend. We always had a chat at shows and he was a fascinating guy to speak to, passionate about so many different things. Ade was a huge supporter of Tommy's War and I'll always be thankful to him. Mike placed a link where he'd made an impassioned plea during my July sale. Unfortunately I didn't see that until today and I never got the chance to thank Ade personally.

I'm shocked and saddened by the news, I've lost two good modelling buddies this year alone and it really does put things in to perspective. My thoughts are with his family, who he spoke of on many occasions, and I know he was incredibly proud of them.

Thanks for all your support and friendship Ade.

So here are the details of the service for Adrian, posted from his Family. I realise that most people will not able to attend but though that you would like to know...
  1. OK then, here are the details for Adrian's service :-
  2. Monday 19th September 2016, 4.40pm at North East Surrey Crematorium.
Address: Cemetery Lodge, Lower Morde...n Ln, Morden SM4 4NU
    Phone: 020 8337 4835
  3. VIP (Very Important Particulars) :- If you knew Adrian, then you know that he was a larger than life character, always joking about, and having a laugh and of course he was a laid back kinda guy!!! So, the service will also be laid back and full of colour - it is all about him after all.
  4. With this in mind myself, Elena, Tania and James would like to request the following:-
  5. We would like everybody to be casual - Adrian was always in bright coloured shirts and hawaiian shirts, his cargo shorts and sandals. It had to be winter, very cold and wet to find him in jeans and trainers, but the shirts would always be the same. So jeans/shorts and bright coloured shirts please - men, women and children (if present). If it is at all possible we would ask NO BLACK, but if anyone feels that they want to be more formal that is fine.
  6. Regarding flowers, if you wish to do flowers that is ok. Or you can make a donation to Cancer Research or Diabetes UK. Thank you.
  7. There will not be a wake afterwards in keeping with his wishes, Adrian didn't want one, he thought they were too depressing.
  8. Please feel free to message me if there is anything else you need to know or wish to say.
  9. We would also like to thank you all for your support, there have been so many well wishers and kind words. Adrian is going to be missed by so many. Thank you again, Eve, Elena, Tania and James XXX

I haven't been on pF much lately due to some real-world problems, so I missed this thread earlier and I only heard this sad news at Euro over the weekend. RIP Adrian. I didn't know him in person but he was a stalwart of the pF community and will be missed. Sincere (albeit slightly belated) condolences to his family & friends.

- Steve
