I think its a perfect movie
Though I think Daniel Day Lewis is the best actor of our time, and one of the best ever.

Great movie - and 100% agreed on Daniel Day Lewis, although there's a bunch of other actors could be put in the same category. De Niro for example.

For sure The Seven Samurai is a classic of cinema.
As with any movie genre, picking out a favorite medieval Japanese film is always subject to the mood of the moment.
