Hello fellas, here's my most recent effort. And what a struggle it was as well! Never again. Until next time...
The observant amongst you will notice that it's a Pegaso kit, but I have made some conversions too. I changed the flag, swapped about the officer to the rear of the base, facing the viewer and added the wounded bloke (a Nemrod figure with a Shenandoah head). Hope you like...

Cheers fellas,
Evan the base is just short of 5 inches across. The officer at the back actually hangs off it, a cardinal sin I know, but doing that to figure can create a sense of space that is off the base that figure is moving towards/away from. There is no dead space on this one at all, and I positioned the horses to create a kind of backdrop to the standard bearer that's lost his flag...

Guy, I'm doing a Zouave standard bearer from the ACW. It is driving me crazy to be honest, I keep telling myself it'll be worth it.

Roy, I'll be at the club tomorrow, recent events have stopped me going but not anymore.
Here's a picture of the wounded bloke in the foreground. A Nemrod conversion with a slightly remodelled Shenandoah head, I love his face and couldn't leave him out...

Thanks for the close-up of the wounded soldier; he really adds a depth to the piece, it's not just a fight, it's a fight for life. Very nice work!
