Well it's a running project, already created a selector by size not yet completed, and when you see a small red triangle on the left of a cell, by putting your arrow on it a additional cell open on the screen with more info

Lot of dead links, lot of companies gone perhaps because :
The competition is far greater than 40 years ago, I think the size of the market didn't change very much, but, the number of makers is now at least 10 times the number of the 70ies . Lot of companies offers a very narrow choice . And on lot of webb, remember those want to sell something, the choice of colours is deterrent; grey on black, pink on black, blue on black ( personnaly I quit directly ) also lot of webb gives poor informations, often the size is even not indicated or very difficult to find, poor description ( my modo : no size, no clear infos, no buy )

I´ve decided to create this thread to help we, modellers, finding a specifc company and, specially, to "spread the word" about the small companies, that sometimes have great stuff but are little known to the public.

I have this impression by my own experience. Everyone knows Andrea Miniatures or Pegaso Models, for example, but there are small companies with true jewels out there, like UP Miniaturen (from my friend Ulrich Puchala), Maurice Corry, Gordon Mitchells, etc, etc.

So, with the authorization of our C-in-C Gordy, i created this thread, that have the purpose of helping modellers, not "marketing" or something like that.

Now, the fun part: everyone will help. I started the thread, but i do not know all companies. So, you know/own a company and did not saw it here? Post it, i will edit the initial post and we can keep the index up to date.

Disclaimer 1: I decided to not include compnies no longer in production to not cause confusion in the list

Disclaimer 2: Since the qualification of a company as "big" or "small" is subjective, any company can be listed here.

Disclaimer 3: Nor i nor planetFigure are endorsing any of these companies; sometimes one can have a bad experience with a company or a store, but that is a matter for other thread.

Hello All,
Just a note. Drummer Boy Miniatures was on a hiatus due to military obligations and injuries. I have retired from the Army and am restarting and re branding the company. We are already working on new masters and getting previous masters cast for new releases. Hopefully we will be back in order in the next couple of months.
