Does anyone remember a kit from a few years ago depicting the Italian hero, Garibaldi? I seem to remember it was possibly EMI. I'm looking to do it as a gift for a mate of mine but I need to know what I am seaching for first Also, was it Romeo or Pegaso who did one of 'El Duce'?

Hi Paul,

If my memory serves me correctly there was a Garibaldi figure sculpted by Laruccia for EMI in 54mm. Romeo Models has done El Duce in 54mm but he is mounted whilst Pegaso has done El Duce in 54mm as a foot figure.

Thank you. The second link is indeed the Pegaso figure I was referring to. And I'm glad to know it was EMI and sculpted by Laruccia figure of Garibaldi I was thinking of. Do you by chance, know the code for the figure or if EMI has their own site? I think I would like to paint the Garibaldi figure for my friend. Failing that I think I'll opt for one of the EMI Carbinieri figures instead

Thanks for the help hut I have the codes for the two Carbinieri that I am considering. It is the code for the EMI Garabaldi kit (and photo) that I'm actually after.

Hi Paul,

I know I have seen the Garibaldi figure you are after - I did some searches on various web sites and to date not succeed in locating it. I will keep looking and hopefully the photo & reference turns up.

Funny I was interested in getting this figure about a year ago but I just cannot locate it.
