HI ALL please tell me what i got right and what i need to work on . i am leaveing the eyes like that till i get a few more under my belt THANKS

Hi Rob,
On a figure like this it is quite hard to advise right or wrong because its fantasy , if you were to paint realistic subject then people could offer advice on mid tones n shading that sort of thing , but I think one thing that may help on a figure like this would be to start from a black primer .

Hi Rob,
like Sam said it's a hard one to help with because of the fantasy element. One thing I thought of was maybe a brownish wash in the lines of the face to help them stand out a bit more, depends what look your going for though.

THANKS for the the time to comment and for the tips . i understand what you are saying about the subject matter . i think i will add a darker wash to ther face as well . i have a few more heads like this that are also fantasy . i would like to post w.i.p as well then i am going to go for it and try to find some cheap life like busts to try ( human ) and will ask for more help at that time thanks again
