Hello Guys,

When i was getting frustrated about the white colour on a Roman Candidatus i painted this Hussar.
It is a figure from STORMTROOPERS what i bought at the last EURO 2005.
The figure is great, wonderfull casting with a minour cleaning.
Only i was not happy with that, there was only one piece for glueing and that was the left arm.
So, it was very difficult for me to paint. Some areas are almost impossible to reach and if it was possible i was spoiling other nicely painted  areas.
After all he is finished. I painted him as a Brandenburg Hussar from the 3e regiment.
So all comments are welcome, critism even more.

Marc I really like your result here. Even if the pictures are a bit dark, and not showing the true colors 100%, what I see looks nice to me.

Marc, Nice job. I like the "attitude" the greatcoat gives the figure. Do you have any photos that are lighter?~Gary

Gary,

Thanks so very much. I've lightend up the picture's with photoshop but when i make them lighter the colours "disappeard" loosing there brightness and deepness
So, i do not know what i do wrong with photoshop.

hi marc
very very nice paint work and nice figure

ziet er heel moeilijk uit om te schilderen

cheers ronald

Marc,
this guy looks to have turned out quite nicely! I like the fact that he's holding a cigarette in his hand. An interesting touch! The reds of the tunic compliment the gray of the great coat nicely. Good work!
