Hello,

I wanted to share pictures of my latest project. My V-Bench is still in the works, so I thought I would post them here, and then they can be moved later.

This is a Royal Italian Trumpeter (1st Chasseurs a Cheval) circa 1807. I built it from spare Historex parts. I did add putty for for small details, and I also braided wire, lead foil, paper, and styrene for other details.

The figure was primered with acrylics (airbrush) and then finished entirely in Winsor & Newton artist's tube oils.

Any comments welcome! :)

Beautiful work Robert I will always be a fan of the Historex figures as I started out building these long ago.

Way to go Robert! I have often admired the kit. You did an excellent job assembling it and I like the way it turned out. Keep up the good work!

Happy Trails, Terry Martin

Hi guys,

Thanks for all of your kind comments. They mean a lot.

I'll post pictures of the next project just as soon as I finish it up.
