Hey guys,

Whilst I was waiting for my Figone bust to arrive I picked this up from a small company called Games Workshop (you may have heard of them) ;)

Anyhoo, here is my first attempt at a figure after a 20 year break. It looked ok till I took some close up pics. I am happy with him anyway, he turned out a lot better than I expected. He looks a lot better away from the flash and when viewed from a distance ;)

Painted almost entirely in Vallejo acrylics, with a few dabs of humbrol gloss clear coat here and there, mainly on the gems and staff.

Apologies for the quality of pics, I am not now, and never will be, a photographer.

Comments very welcome, I am just starting out again and any hints/tips will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bill:

Say, you did quite well on this figure, especially since
it has been quite some time. I hope getting back into
figures will be a lot of fun for you. That last photo with
the added coin for scale is a good idea. I'm not familiar
with either of the company names you mentioned so I'm
guessing this is a 28mm figure? I feel the scale should
always be mentioned when posting photos. It helps
old dudes like me better understand just what I am
looking at.

Phew, thats a difference between old and new!
You have done a great job on the repainted figure. I like it a lot and take it as a reference for coming projects.

PS: I for myself couldn't repaint any of my old figures cause they are all personal history;)
