If you are looking for info on weapons ranging from Derringers to Kalashnikovs, you might be able to find it here.
http://www.forgottenweapons.com/
This is primarily a web site for the antique and unusual weapons collectors, but from time to time something pops up. Right now there is a short video of a guy shooting a Vickers MG, which is pretty cool. And about 20 photos of what is purported to be a complete 1916 Mosin-Nagant Izhevsk cavalry carbine. The provenance of some of the bits of the carbine is shaky, but it looks to my untrained, non-gunsmith eyes just like the one published in the Verlag Militaria book on the Imperial Russian army.
All the best,
Dan
