Hello Brad.
I just wasn't happy with the way it was going. I had an idea in my head what they should look like and what I was doing just wasn't it so in the stripper they went. I'm positive about it though, better to strip now than have a set of 17 figs. I'm not happy with. :)
I think I was applying the oils too think which on a finely engraved 30mm figure is not good.

Roger.

Hi Roger,
Sorry I missed a lot of this thread, we are in the process of changing our broardband supplier and believe me down here it will take 10 to 30 days and costs three times the UK price  .
Sorry to hear that you sent some of the French army to the strippers. May be you could do the same with France Telecom?
I must say that in the Grand Scale of things, I'm sure that I have used more Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner (ie stripper) than I have Windsor & Newton over the years. With some help from Her indoors:cautious:.
Can't wait to se the repaint Mate, I am sure that it will be first class.
All the very best,
Keith

Cheers Keith, I'm now confident (kind of) I have a clear idea what I'm doing now so all I have to do now is put the grand plan into practice.
Hope you get your Broadband sorted soon, by the time it is I might have a Auvergne figure to show you. :D

Roger.

Yes.... the one that removes paint....... :sour:
To avoid confusion the "other" ;) type are known as Jack the Ripper's. :D

I didn't know you were a cockney Roger?
We do now have internet of a sort..... only one PC at a time an no WiFi. The up shot being a fight over who will use the internet and moving around with a trailing lead. Not good.
I'm looking forward to the next installment of the Auvergne Regiment.

Colin Colin Colin,
As they say in the Bersaglieri "whata mistaka ta maka":angelic:.

Cheers Guys
Keith
