Hi Dan,

very nice work !! I hope you enjoy it like I did. I sculpted this little man in 75mm and I have one or two casts of it. Before the figure reached the market the company closed its doors (I think the owner was ill, but I´m not sure). I was thinking about to to this figure again - not sure about it.

I have added a pic of the finiehed work. If you want to see it in different angels, just click the link. http://www.maeck-miniatures.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=82&Itemid=2

Best regards and I keep close.

Markus - Many thanks for posting that! I had not seen it and it's a wonderful vignette. Of course you should do a kit of it! I had not thought to make so much equipment. It's also interesting what you did with the crazy little tower thingie. I think it's an elaborate lamp post however - or possibly a village water pump with the pump bit on the opposite side of where the Poilu and his bicycle are. Lamp post works best for me. I'm going to start with the big Verlinden lamp post and convert it. I'm going to need someone to do a bit of resin casting when I get ready to do that. There are several repeated lamp bits that would be easier to have cast than struggle with.

All the best,
Dan
