Hello, everyone.:)
I have begun to paint a new figure.

(FRENCH FOREIGN LEGIONNAIRE. . .WARRIORS54mm)

I don't have detailed information about this soldier.

However I liked this figure.;)

Hi Mitsutaka,

An interesting departure from your usual 120mm Verlinden figures. I'm sure if you Google you'll find plenty of reference for French Foreig Legion uniforms. Good luck,I'll be following your progress with interest.

Thank you very much, Swartepat.

Hello! Swartepat.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I don't like a small figure, but I, TRY, would.
Thank you for liking it.;)

Thank you very much, Tony.

Hi! Tony.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and advice.
I'd like to check it about this figure.
I think I painted most line-ups about 120mm figure of VERLINDEN.
There also seem to be no new products about 120mm figure.

TAMIYA was selling a figure of ANDREA in Japan before.
But this didn't sell at all, so TAMIYA withdrew from ANDREA.
Remaining products are sold by Japan at the quite low price at present.

Thank you for liking it.;)

Hello Mitsutaka:

Like the others have said, I also will be following this with interest. And
you're right on the money in my view; since this is so much smaller than
120mm figure, it is not easy. But you're very talented and I am sure you'll
come up with a very impressive final result.

Also, I really like the sculpting of this figure, the stance, et cetera. To me,
this soldier has a lot of character with that beard and mustache.

Good luck, but mostly, have a lot of fun with it.

Rick

Thank you very much, Pedro.

Hi! Pedro.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
While being close, I begin to paint.

Νice Mitsutaka,
I like the subject and the scale,
I suppose there is no more 120mm figure left to paint and you start the 54mm, right?
I want to see you on that scale, I think it's a challenge.
Good luck my friend, looking forward for WIP pics,
kind regards,
Christos.

Thank you very much, Rick.

Hi! Rick.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I think this figure is a unique figure, too.;)
The prices were also low.
I have a favorite one and something I don't go along about a figure of WARRIORS.
I think there are many sculptors.
I'll contribute in detail about SBS.
Thank you for liking it.;)

Mitsutaka:)

Thank you very much, Christos.

Hi! Christos.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
You're right.
I don't possess other 120 mm figure certainly.
(I have a figure as high NOON in VERLINDEN.)
I was doing to change the way of painting a little about 120mm figure.
I'm 54mm figure and, TRY, will.
There were a lot of shops to which a figure of ANDREA is sold by a low price at present, so I bought 2 already, too.
One is planning to arrive today.:)
Thank you for liking it, my friend.;)

Legionairre

Dear Mr Hikaru,

I think that this is a great little figure, as I know a little about the french Foriegn Legion I wanted to wish you success with this figure and offer you some background Info.

The figure represents one of the defenders of a place called Bir Hakiem in North Africa (libya) During the desert campaign of ww2 - The legionaire would have been part of the Free french forces to have defended and broken out of the defensive stronghold of bir hakiem this part of the wider effort of British , commonwealth and alles to defeat the germans and Italians.

as such this guy is dressed in a british battle dress jerkin (cold desrt nights) and the sand coloured bombay bloomer shorts., anyway hope this is of interest I look forward to following your progress

Best Regards Chris(y)

Mitsutaka, Great work on the base as usual and what a great figure , looking forward to following this one.

Cheers Ken

Thank you very much for your kind comment and information.
I was quite able to learn.;)

Basic painting.

HELLO again, everyone.:)

I have finished basic painting by a hand piece.

I used VALLEJYO - COLOR.

The color of the jacket was blown first.

Next the color of the pants was also blown.

I blew the same color about a fresh part.

Next white of a hat and socks was blown.

I added black to red leather about a pouch.

And that was blown.

I also blew this color about facial shade and shoes.

A belt was painted at the end.
I used a brush about this part.

I'm planning to paint completion from here.
