The figure has now been painted and I am pleased with the outcome, except when I knocked the end of the musket off, (the air was deep blue).
I have mended it as best I can, s**t happens.
The face is painted in oils and the rest in acrylics with some extra details.
Hand-painted grenades on the tails and the bayonet and sword were from another kit. (metal models)
I am only now waiting for the postie to deliver some snow and micro balloons from AK weathering sets and it will be complete.

Very nice bob. It certainly captures the battered appearance of one of the Grande Armee in the winter of 1805-06.

Cheers

Looks Good to me
Nicely done

Life is a bitch...and then you break off the end of a musket...man I hate when that happens...still looks good though.

You have done a really nice job of painting on this Bob. Lovely clean work.

Thank you all very much for your support and the kind words. I did cuss quite a bit when I broke the musket just above the top sling swivel. Now waiting for postie for my snow.
All the best for steady hands.

Very nicely painted Bob.
Excellent work on the musket mend ... wouldn't have known if you hadn't said.
Look forward to seeing him in the snow.

Cheers,
Andrew
