Marc, your work looks great, but your images are saturated with an orange cast. I would really like to see your work in a better light, it certainly deserves it 'cos everythin' looks well painted, and the face likewise.

Regards, Paul.

Paul,
I know what you mean. You can believe me that it is not orange but red. I really cannot make a good picture with a digital camera. In the "old days"
i was a really good amateur photographer with international awards.
But i really don't know how to make a good picture of a miniature figure.
Tried everything.
But i know for sure there is really something wrong with my supermarket camera.
The face for instance is a very light brown (painted like Vitalino paint his skincolors)..
Anyway, thanks for your comment's. Hope to talk to you at Euro.

Marc

Yeah, it'll be good to see you there at Euro, too.

I think you'll need to change the white balance on your camera, and then if your images need any sharpenin', croppin' or colour balancin' try the free download from Google, called Picasa. This is a nice little tool, and its free.
Do a search on the word 'Picasa'.

Marc, my family and I just got back from Paris last night. After two visits to Les Invalides and the French Army museum, I have a very understanding wife, I got home with a urge to paint this chap myself. It was a really nice suprise to see your paintjob on him when I logged onto Pf to catch up on whats been going on while I was away.
Nice work mate and I want to paint it even more now!!

Roger
