Here are a couple of pictures of a project I finished earlier in the year. I've managed (hopefully) to resize the images properly. (I soon reach the limits of my computing knowledge!)

Cheers

Anthony that's a great little vign. I really like the subject that you chose and the movement of the figures. ( I especially like the towel as a background :p)

Cheers fellas! I used that towel as I didn't have anything else big enough at the time! Appears to have worked very well though as it is a fairly neutral colour and doesn't detract from the subject matter.

As for the project itself, it began to take a life of it's own and I could write a book on the trouble it gave me...but I won't. Not just yet anyway.

Anthony, I'm sure you had moments when you asked yourself "why am I doing this?" Large projects are not for the faint of heart.~Gary

Hi Anthony,

All the agonies that you endured while creating this little gem were more than worth it. Thumbs up for this one (y)

Johan ;)

Anthony--Great job. Is this possibly one of your handmade flags? How long did it take to put this all together?

Mike

Thankyou all very much indeed for the encouragement

Cheers Guy, not Native Americans I know, though having seen your stuff I'll leave them to you, you're the expert mate!

Gary, only a fellow modeller as yourself knows what I went through on this! It started off with Humbrol enamel paint that would NOT dry no matter what I did, along with 2 other figures for this I ended up ditching!

Johan, yes you are correct. Agony is the right word. This is the second flag. I had to cut the other one off the hussar after the whole thing was mounted and finished. Then I had to sculpt a new arm onto the flagpole and the into the shoulder joint, working around the finished piece. All without damaging the rest...

Mike, I've PM'd you. Yes I did the flag myself. NOT hard to do, think of it being time comsuming, as oppsed to hard, and you've won half the battle!

thanks fellas.
