I spoke to our club leader and he informed me Gary is still in hospital,he has contracted an MRSA bug while being in hospital and is having to stay in until the bug has been cured,it's not been great for him this year,he's been very poorly but I'm told in good spirits,I will pass on everyone's best wishes to him.

Since I'm on this side of the pond and y'all are on the other, I've never had the opportunity to meet Gary. But he must be a pretty great fella to have so many friends wishing him well!

I only know Gary from his sculpting and his reasoned and insightful posts here on PF. Hope to see him back with full health.
The situation reminds me of the old expression: If you want to stay healthy, stay out of the hospital!
