wow that was quick!
corrections are a natural part of the process i have discovered. one other tip i use is that you best sculpting tool is a black marker pen;
draw all your lines and features on and circle imperfections and the like and check measurements and positions from a scale drawing with Dividers.
Dividers are a must because like the pen, you can 'draw' in to the uncured surface and ensure locations and sizes are spot on.
