I've almost given up trying to take even a half decent photograph of my figures with the camera I SPECIFICALLY PURCHASED for taking photos of my figures! I should probably just get an iPhone and be done with it. Well, I suppose one hobby is more than enough for one man to deal with. In any case, this is my latest effort; FeR's 75mm Georgian Infantryman at the battle of Gettysburg painted in oils.

That's a great figure and I think you've done it proper justice.
Jon.

Thank you very much indeed Jon! And Thanks as well Zeno, and the answer sadly is no to Chicago this year, I am saving my money and planning on going to Euro Miniature Expo in Folkestone this upcoming May. I am however sending one of my figures with Rick Taylor, who will enter my crossbowman figure on my behalf in Chicago. Look for him, he'll be all by himself next to Rick's display.

Thanks John and Marc. The funny thing Marc, is that I used paper diffusers on my lighting sources, which are two small desk lamps. Can you imagine how washed out these pics would be if I hadn't used them? Oh well, it is what it is. And thanks Grasshopper, what part of Western Canada are you in? I am located in St. Albert, just north of Edmonton.

You've done a great job with your photos.

If you are interested, there is a video tutorial on Miniature Mentor about Photographing Miniatures presented by a professional photographer. I think that it's a downloadable version for $25 but check it out. The guy's photos are very good and he explains the whole process.
Best.
Gerry
