Still very early days. I don't know whether to stay with subdued colours, or have some brighter trousers.
Carl.

Nice start.

I would stay with subdued with very bright blue eyes or so...
(almost all figures have blue eyes it seems, but hey, this is a German and they actually all have blue eyes, haven't they..?)

Cheers,
Adrian

Thanks Adrian. He does have baby blues, but I've gone with a gingerish beard and hair. Although you can't tell in these photos.:(

I really like the subdued colors. The colors are made from pigments out of plants in those days. So they don't hold very long.
That's why i find the subdued colors more to reality then colorfull figures...at least from the old age..

Carl, great start and I also would keep with the subdued colours , will be in harmony with the groundwork. (y)

Cheers Ken

Hi Carl.
Don't you ever sleep mate? Great progress so far and try and keep the tones muted. I picked up this same figure last Saturday at Darlington - it's a cracker isn't it!
Hope you are keeping well.
Best regards.
Gary

Just caught this one mate and i like what you have done so far with him, i like the fact you went for the redish hair and beard, gives him a more wild look.
yeh i agree subdued colours work well for this one with the cloathing and you can add a bit of colour with the shield.

nice one mate,

Steve(y)

I'm also working on this great figure, i would remain with the subdued colours more historically correct, nice clean start !!

cheers
