One of my favourite shows!

Blakey was great, but yes Colin, I always got the most laughs out of Arthur!

Funnily enough, Blakey played a part as being a lot older than Stan and Jack, but in real life, I think he was younger than both of them at the time.

RIP Blakey.

Jeff.

Reg Varney was already in his mid 50s (and looked it) when 'On The Buses' started, but his character Stan was only supposed to be 30-ish.

Bob Grant who played Jack was in real life a very troubled soul who suffered from depression and other mental health issues. He struggled to get roles after the show finished and ended up committing suicide. All very sad.

The death of Stephen Lewis leaves Anna Karen (Olive) as the only surviving O.T.B. cast member.

Jeez, Reg Varney was in his mid 50's Steve!... I didnt realise he was that old when it started!

Yes, I read about how troubled Bob Grant was, he just couldnt get anything to replace the success he had with On the Buses.

Cheer's,
Jeff.
