Thanks for pointing this out. I moved the Google Search box to show on the sidebar (just below the old search). On the iPad you have to go all the way to the bottom of the screen and click on 'Sidebar' to have it open.

The Google Search box will show to all, but you don't have to use it - the old search is still available. As for the 'havoc' - please try again, I think I was in the middle of modifying the settings when you viewed the forum.

I don't see the need for a Google search when I have one as my browser.

The new search box is using the Google engine but only displays results from within the forum. As you mentioned you can also use the browser by typing: "sitelanetfigure.com" followed by the search term.

Excuse my ignorance guys but what's the different between the Google search and the original if the Google searches within the forum

Both the searches show at the top of my page on iPad next to "what's new" ???

I can see how it can be confusing having two search boxes displaying very similar search results.

I have removed that feature for now - let me rethink how to implement it better.
