Hi Jazz ,

Blimey young man what can I say except I love the way this is looking , nice kharki tones , facial colours looks great (like the scars as well) .

If I might perhaps say the cap (great job by Carl) looks a little proud on the hair at the front ...but it might be the pic angle ..or just me .

Like the idea of a leather strap ...good different textures .

Looking forward to the next update

VERY WELL DONE starting from a great idea and progressing great ....looking forward to hopefully seeing this close up .

Well, Great Uncle Walter is just about finished now. The casting as usual from Young is very good and I recommend this bust as an excellent addition to any collection of busts. This has been a fulfilling project and I have enjoyed it. I have painted and fixed on the Lee Enfield rifle and have decided to leave off the spade as advised. I just need to get a name plaque from Name It and he should be ready. Thanks to all of you for looking and supporting me through this thread, the largest I have ever had, and a big Thank You to HouseCarl for providing the cap. I hope I have done it justice. Please feel free to make a comment.

Great job and conversion- might be tempted to give the chap a go, once I have finished the 200mm Gordons Piper.

John a marvelous work indeed the poppies look great and really balance the drab colors with their red nice one
