Greco-Persian Wars 75mm

Hello Everybody,

Here is my version of the Greco-Persian Wars set from Mercury Models. Very, well casted, required almost zero prep-time, and was an absolute joy to paint. With this one knocked out, I've finally finished painting all of the ancient Greeks I've had sitting around in my grey army... It'll be nice to paint other periods and subjects for a change .

Painted exclusively in oils... For those interested, there is a pretty detailed SBS on how I painted the Greek figure that can be found here.

It was great fun to follow the SBS , well written and good pics ....and this completed now looks very dynamic

All the hard work painting each has paid off .....do like the Persians trousers !

Interesting they are both on individual groundwork some might have joined but it works here
