This is my next project, "Greek Fighter in Greek Revolutionary". As you all know, the sculptor is my favorite master, Mr.Carl Reid.

I never tried this era and subject and I don't know if there is a real drawing or something which this figure is based on. If anyone has a good resource for Greek Revolutionary War Fighter, please let me know.

the box art is very good as a guide http://www.ysmasterpieces.com/product_hellenic_revolution_1821kleftarm.htm

keep in mind that all these fighters (kleftarmatoloi) were lived and fought in the mountains as small groups and not just (in Europe) all the army of thousands of men just marging against the enemy (like in napoleonic era) , they were very dirty and with very dark skin from the sun, so try to give him this look.

Hope i help...

It's a wonderful figure, Kaz.:)
Indeed the details and a pose are wonderful.
An inclined ground work is also nice presentation.
I'm convinced that a wonderful finish is seen.(y)
I'd like to follow.;)
