Hello Folks

My next napoleonic project is based on Colonel Lepic of the French Imperial Guard Horse Grenadiers.

During the Battle of Eylau his men were seen to be flinching whilst under fire at which point the commander turned in his saddle to call out the words ' Haut la tête, messieurs, la mitraille ce n'est pas de la merde'

These are 3D sculpted kits printed for me by Tommi Worton.
Thanks to Peedee for his great help with the uniform research.

Available this week are;
1/6th Bust £30.00
120mm mounted £70.00
Post is free within UK and an additional £8.00 for overseas shipping.
Purchase both for £95.00 with free worldwide shipping.

To order please email only on [email protected]

Other scales will be;
1/10th Full and half figure
75mmm and possibly 1/32nd

Cheers
Gordon

Printing looks excellent quality mate, very nicely done.
Who is the 3d sculptor? they have done a great job on it.
Cheers

Great looking bust , Gordon. One small comment regarding the collar on the uniform. Since the sculptor made him a General, shouldn't he have oak leaves on the collar? At the battle of Eylau, Lepic was a Colonel, not a General. Great bust in any event.

I think Tommi has copied the Detaille picture faithfully, hence no lacing on his collar. One could always add it during painting, if required, of course.
I would keep it as Detaille's original.

Allan,
Yes he did, except that in the picture you cannot see the epaulettes. At Eylau , Lepic was a Colonel and therefore, he did not have General's stars on the epaulettes. If you don't want oak leaves on the collar, and on the torso, than you must remove the stars on the epaulettes.

Yes, quite agree, Joel, ...it will be no problem to trim the stars off the epaulettes(y):happy:

Hi Gordon

A nice addition aimed at all modellers , nice looking bust

Can you confirm the medal looks too rounded at the edges for the legion

in colour ref from Martin it shows the Legion d'honneur

Going to paint up well

Thanks for sharing

Stay safe

Excellent concept and title.....But old school prefers hand sculpt and this reminds me of the plastic models I used to do when I was a kid. Yeah I know, times have changed and unfortunately I no longer have my BB gun. Still it looks very good though.
