Not a massive amount of progress but I have been being careful and letting the putty dry between details, even small ones.

I decided to add gold lace to the cuffs of the gauntlets, also add a little cuff detail under the same cuff. Only done the right one so will hope to get the left one done tomorrow. The fringes to his eppulets have been sculpted, not too wind blown as they are heavy bullion thread affairs.

Apart from a little snagging here and there I reckon this fella can have a rest as I proceed with the Second of the trio.

He looks really good.

What a wonderful job you have done on the general. He really is excellent.
The image provided by Nap is of General de Division d'Hautpoul, mortally wounded at Eylau.

Melanie, thank you, he is just about finished now so onto the second figure. The kit is actually Historexs d'Hautpoul but for my purposes he is just a Cuirassier General of Division, I am not basing this on any particular battle or personality. That said he would be a brilliant subject for a stand alone piece at a later date.

Hi Simon

Nice work on the finer details , liking the movement he has and the bling on the gloves ...good addition

Looking forward to seeing more on the next Figure in the group

Have fun @ the bench

I have some progress to post, I'm hoping to get some bench time today to post it up. Just a bit frazzled with everything else going on at the mo, then the schools break up on Friday, oh deep joy!😉

Cheers Simon

Holla tout le monde, quelqu'un pourrait-il m'indiquer où je peux trouver des figurines en tenue de plongée qu'il faut reconstituer car vendues en pièces détachées, connaître tous les appareils de plongeurs de toutes les époques est ma passion. Merci d'avance, Yves
