Cheers Brad, I have done quite a bit more work on the cuirasse and hopefully will post progress tomorrow, can't do it now too busy drinking biere!

Thanks, I haven't started painting it yet, that's the bit I don't like, the build is great fun. Then again if it was easy it wouldn't be as enjoyable, more progress imminently.

Progress, I have done a lot more painting, glazing and matt varnishing on the cuirasse and started the helmet. I think it looks better in the pictures than it was though to the naked eye there is little change. Also more of his bling, still highlight to put in here and there before I add the sword and finish the helmet.



Also I've cracked on with the saddle which hasn't come out as bright as I'd hoped but the I did forget to underpaint the red parts with white which I believe adds to the chroma, not so.much on grey, oh well I ain't doing it again.



Next I'll dig the oils out and tackle the horse.

As an aside I may have upset the modelling God's, my table is beside the Welsh Dresser on top of which are a load of glass vases. I sat at my desk and one crashed down showering broken glass everywhere. It missed me by about a foot but I did get some cuts from flying glass, thing is none of them were close to the edge so I might get myself a hard hat!

Ha cheers Kev, I was thinking of a darker horse as it will go well with the darker uniform. That and I don't much like painting greys!

You have to suffer for your art......it sounds like you nearly did!
