Hi All,

New to the forum here, so Thanks for your patience.

I'm trying to identify a figure of a Piper or Pipe major, can't remember which, although I think it's a Pipe Major. Would have been released in the late 70's maybe even the early 80's, white metal. Barton maybe?

The figure is maybe a 80mm or maybe even a 120mm, not 100 percent sure.

The figure itself is quite a big guy around the middle, very rotund, I believe He might be standing at attention. He is wearing full dress but I think he had a Glengarry on and not a feather bonnet.

I'm afraid thats all I can remember, Thanks again for your time.

Regards

Peter

Hi,
The figure you are after is probably the now out of production Real Models 100mm Drum Major Goodman sculpted by David Grieve in the 70s.You could try E-Bay.

Hi There ,

I would agree that it is Mr Goodman of the London Scottish, I know ALL THE QUEENS MEN did a figure , although not sure what scale it was ,reference QM56 might be worth contacting them ?

Also Art Girona did a figure .

The gentleman on the left is Mr Goodman

Hi Chris ,

The ATQM range are I think ARE very good if a little old , the quality was there when they were released originally many years ago but as with anything time improves releases .

Price wise ..a little expensive yes but they will give you a specail figure for the display cabinet !!!
