Hello , ZhouYu. His skin looks great ! But in my opinion there is some problems with metals , mostly in a chain mail . Did you used black-washing or dry-brushing on it?
But for FIRST miniature it is great ,I could not believe that it is only first !!!

I would not of thought that this was the first ! Perhaps some more shading and outlining to make details pop out more. In any case, its very well done and to follow Marc's comment, practice, practice, practice.
